Class Novels:
In class novels we have benn reading, Diary of a wimpy kid and Holes. I have been in, Diary of a wimpy kid. Diary of a wimpy kid is quite a good book, Miss Bates reads that one.
Squirt:
Squirt is just reading time that we have to do for half an hour. Squirt means, Sustained, Quiet, Uninterupted, Reading Time. Some of the books that I have enjoyed reading were, Cathy Cassidy, I love her books, Another book is written by Paul Jennings.
Premieres Reading Challenge:
Premieres reading challenge, is where kids get a note to bring back to school if you wanted to do it. What you have to do is, borrow books from the library with a special sticker on it, then you have to read 10 from the premieres reading list, and 5 of your own choice. Then at the end of the year, the poeple that did it get an award.
Reading Progression:
With my reading, I believe that I have improved on reading out loud, to the teacher. I also think that I have gotten faster at reading as well. I am in level 5E. I think I also have improved on doing reading tests.
What I can Improve on:
I think I can improve on reading out loud to different poeple, I think I read quite fast in my head and I find alot of different books easy to undersatnd.
Some Favorite Authors:
Some of my favorite authors are, Paul Jennings, Cathy Cassidy, some of my favoirte books are, Cicada Summer, Cathy Cassidy series, Paul Jennings'es books, Justin D'ath books, and thats about it.
